I've been training and swimming and playing football like a madman.
I feel I gained a lot but last week was really hard for me.
I felt exhausted and burned out, thought I kept grinding, I felt pain and had a bit of trouble with my ears.
So this weekend I played a match and I cannot play halfway through. I usually go all in full throttle, it's in my competitive nature with the sport.
So feeling the new moon and my exhaustion I decided to rest for a couple of days and today I am fasting.
Whenever I am most tired and about to go ill, I fast.
I stop eating for at least 24 hours.
That window allows my body to cleanse and repair whatever I need.
And one thing I noticed is that my eating habits get in balance with what I need and use. Because I stop craving foods as coping mechanisms for stress and in response to the burnout.
Usually I eat whatever I want and crave the day before in whatever quantity I fancy. So when I start fasting I know I am well nurtured, at least I have available nutrients.
So right noe I've been fasting for 24hs already. I feel hungry but it's nearly time for sleep. I will allow myself a chamomile tea. Will help further my digestion, it's anti inflammatory and will relax me to sleep.
