Introducing Jouvence, the first of fifteen 1920s French fashion nostriches I’m creating for
https://nostrichnovember.com - drawn in Procreate, colored with Copic markers, and placed on a mixed media background. I’ll reveal the others in November.
It’s really fun to see the final art after all the experimentation. For monthly art challenges, I usually muddle along until I find a theme/style I want to continue, a process that usually takes 5-7 days. Doing all the muddling around up front means the art I post during #nostrichnovember will have a cohesive look from the start.
At least, that’s the plan. I may change it all up after making 3 more of these. 😬
