One of the things I found at the bottom of the to-be-sold bag is an old velvet trouser leg. The other leg is now a cushion, and a really useful one at that. This leg used to be a doorstop, though back then it was stuffed with old jumpers that had come to the end of their life (they have long since left us).

I've lined it up to be washed, and if it comes out nice I'll use my collection of wadding scraps to stuff it and make a second cushion. I think it'll be really good for back support.
