I'm really starting to think that programming with combinators is some kind of deep next-level wizard magic.
I started teaching a new course section where we "discover" parser combinators a few months back. Now I encounter a npub1305uvc2zhvfrxr8ky2f8utmulyvk8uw5veech37smhzc2453s20s90k70l (npub1305…k70l) assignment where he's using them to build an assertion system.
If not for the fact that they make the IDE shrivel up and die, I'm surprised they're not used more.
