involve some agreement with publishers, but that notwithstanding it was again a choice on Amazon part. Would the books have costed more? Probably, since I don’t think Amazon would have swallowed Apple’s 30% (and we could discuss on the fairness of that 30%), but the choice to not offer the sale in app was their.
Same with Netflix, by the way: they also had in-app subscriptions (can’t remember if at a premium vs web), but the decided to remove them.
