I would love a feature in NOSTR that would allow me to pay a small monthly amount to access posts from specific accounts. Similar to subscribtions on X.
I like the value for value model for individual notes (zapping), but I don’t think it translates well for accounts that summarize events such as flash (nprofile…d40l) or BitcoinArchive (nprofile…7url) . The proof-of-work done by these accounts isn’t reflected by any single note necessarily, but with the aggregation of the content over time.
I believe implementing such a feature would incentivize more people from switching from X to NOSTR.
Is this being worked on, or is it even doable within NOSTR ?
