if I ever wrap this up into a product I'd probably go the same route as my other unity plugins, ie: ~$100 one-time purchase where the source is available, and they tend to have a pretty long sales lifetime.
Kickstarter would be scary though since it would be a one-time payment but a pretty unknown long timeline for development
