I hate to be that guy, but maybe their systems are not designed for peak "market crash everyone wants to login and liquidate everything" conditions. For example the Japanese telecommunication system is designed for peak "12:00 AM Happy New Year!" traffic. But since this pattern existed during gamestop short, it's intentionally accidental.
