I hate closed source software.
There a lot of reasons for it, but just another one is that a lot of times after an update they don't let you rollback your devices, and the older versions become impossible to access.
This means that even if your closed software isn't rug-pulling you now, there's no guarantee it won't in the future and there's also no way of protecting yourself or going back to a previous version once the pulling has happened.
Open source is the way. Take control or be controlled.
