As a regular #Gab user, I have to give kudos to the #Primal app on nostr.
There’s a saying in the media industry: “Content is king”.
Originally I made the move to Gab because, why support a company that hates you (#Twitter)?
With Twitter becoming “X”, I no longer feel the hate, but the algorithm driving engagement is toxic.
The Gab UI, unfortunately being browser based due to their mobile app being de-platformed by BigTech, is clunky at best.
Bottom line: Until content creators (and special interest groups, aka SIGs) start to populate the nostr platform, adoption and engagement will remain low. There needs to be a more compelling justification to join other than being free from censorship. That still comes down to compelling content.
