Here is an interesting aside to this. My father was a pretty decent #photographer. While in Korea he took lots of great color positives (slides) all around the area.

When I digitized it all, I shared with someone from his troop who in turn shared it with the others.

Later, they went to Korea for an anniversary visit and were received by the local politicians and well wishers.

While showing the slides the mayor locality saw one and said "omg, that's my grandpa!".
