While I appreciate the fascination with generative AI, I can’t help but feel like the images people have been sharing lack something painfully apparent, yet difficult to grasp. There’s a weight to Studio Ghibli animations that feels missing—bereft of that soul, the images seem more hollow. The pieces are there, but somehow the sum is less than its parts.
