Hoping the Fedi can come through in a rough time. I am trans and going thru a divorce with a transphobic spouse. I need a lawyer that is an effective advocate for a trans person. I don't need financial help, just a better way to find the right lawyer.
I have checked with 10+ orgs that provide resources to LGBTQ folks, such as WPATH and A4TE, with no luck.
I have requests for referrals out to a couple orgs, including my (US) state's Bar. No response from either, yet.
