I vaguely remember a rumor that the first woman astronaut that went up there chucked a hissy fit because the toilet facilities were not acceptable for her. out of protest she didn't follow correct protocol with her bodily waste and it leaked into the main living areas. it's now impossible to clean, and will smell like that forever. The only solution is to burn it up and build a new one.
