Just look at this crap. It's like if someone accidentially cat /dev/urandom. I can't read it but it seems to work. So I won't touch it.

BTW I love nvchecker and the implementation of devtools' "pkgctl version".

BTW2 if you are able to beautify it, this is you time to shine! Basically I need to ignore x.y.z.alpha (.beta, .rc) releases on stable and need to remove the point in front of the .alpha (.beta, .rc) and also, if there is, after alpha.. y and z are optional.
