"content": "I saw on my timeline that an org called Freedom of the Press Foundation is on Mastodon (thanks nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpq5wtkkf7yxmea8g4mstwjlu4hsm40luj6f65m99hqjyjh7nes8eqsh70qap ), and ok, great name, but when I went to the org's website, I could get nothing informative: no history of how they formed, no up-front statement of how they're funded (they do have financial statements you can look at), no info on their staff \u0026 contributors beyond names. The financial statements say they're a CA-based nonprofit. (+)",
