Kojewma himself apparently lost the script for Metal Gear. The MG formula was simple, you play a lone operative sneaking into a big bad base, procure everything on site, fight a gaggle of weirdos, and uncover information that could lead to the arrest of a Clinton. But like George Lucas without his tard wrangler, Kojimbo has a tendency to make an ass out of himself if left unchecked. MGSV (and even 4 and PO+PW) has so many extraneous elements that add nothing to the game but "content". So instead of getting a well curated sneaking mission you get a big empty map and a bunch of grinding to make to make the exact same FOB as every other player and unlock fake weapons because Kojewmo didn't want to pay licensing fees for Heckler's Koch. We couldn't even role play an 80's mercenary with a G3. Fuck you Hackjima I hope you get crabs.
