I wonder about that, too. I hear (and have said) that Nostr could out-compete Twitter, but is that what it *should* do? Or should we be creating smaller community networks and just subscribing to the ones we want to participate in? Honestly, what % of the Twittersphere did any of us ever interact with really? A tiny, tiny fraction, and only because there wasn't an alternative. Now there is.

So why not a Bitcoin Nostr netowrk (nostrwork)? And a Minecraft nostrwork? And a sewing Nostrwork. Coding, cooking, DIY, etc. Not one massive network, just a bunch of small ones. Those still need to be paid for, but the economics get a lot easier at such a small scale.
