I am an advocate for something akin to poe, but the thing I hate the most is rectifiers in LED bulbs. LEDs should basically last forever, but in practice their built-in power electronics can take the thermal cycles and crack. Just make them DC circuits and switch it at the "breaker box" (poe Ethernet switch)
