New pet peeve: Articles which recap a Reddit thread.
I usually skip such articles and go straight to Reddit, read the original post, read the unedited comments; itβs way more entertaining than the article. And initially I didnβt mind those articles because of it.
But Iβve since found out (and Iβm not sure why this didnβt occur to me) the person who wrote the article got π±π’πͺπ₯ for it. ππ’πͺπ₯. For browsing Reddit, then regurgitating something fun they foundβsomething they didnβt create. Yeah, that took a few minutes of their time, but itβs still the laziest way to come up with content; and thanks to their edits, itβs not π£π¦π΅π΅π¦π³ content.
