Time is both abundant and scarce. When we speak of having a "low time preference" it is because we are taking the long view of the road and seeing the abundance of time ahead of us. Yet we are simultaneously faced with the scarcity of time, because we cannot bottle it up and save it for later. We can use tools like #bitcoin to preserve some of the value of our time, but we cannot store up time itself. All we can do is use it as it is given to us, and then it's gone...and then we are gone. Don't waste your time; use it wisely. 💜
