Hamas was claimed to capture 200 Israel hostage. While Israel have not succeeded in recovering them till now, they have succesfully killed 7236 palestinian since the hostage situation start.
At this point, it is either Israel army is absurdly incompetent or the whole hostage narrative is created to justify the killing.
