According to this security firm, 50% of all internet traffic came from bots in 2023. 32% came from "bad bots": malicious automated software applications. They say in Germany a whopping 67.5% of internet traffic is bad bots.
This sounds really bad, but it's a lot like nature. You contain about as many bacteria as human cells - and about ten times as many viruses! So if you weigh 70 kilograms, you've got about 38 trillion bacteria and 380 trillion viruses in you.
