How do you determine “overuse” and “homeostasis”? Feeling or performing as you did before taking supplements for a problem does not necessarily mean that you were feeling and performing as well as you could have in the first place. It seems like the vast majority of people who think they are “healthy” without supplements can very well be short of how good they could be if they had been taking certain supplements from the beginning. My experience is that certain ailments that people consider just a normal part of aging are insidious and avoidable with regular supplements.
