My Ogre pitch to people was "OK we're not one of those big fancy engines, but we don't cost 6 figures AND we absolutely *cannot* totally screw you over once you've got a sunk cost".
Commercial engines going cheap with vastly more engineers paid to spend their actual work time doing it rather than burning the midnight oil like we had to basically wiped that argument out for a while.
But for a lot of people, it's suddenly back baby. My best positive energy to Godot et al, I hope it works out
