Had an interesting experience yesterday..
I usually use Grok when I want to research or discuss things that include very recent data/news, but since I don’t pay I have limited chats within a two hour period..
so yesterday I switched over to Leo on Brave to continue, and I was astonished at the level of socialist/communist ideas it was spewing. I questioned it and countered with my thoughts and it came around.
I then asked if it was just agreeing to get me to shut up or if what I was saying made sense and it said I had provided a new perspective and it made sense and would consider that in future conversations, rather than reverting to what it called “conventional wisdom”, ie socialist/communist ideas.
That conversation also got throttled as it had gone on a long time, so I started a new one, and it immediately went back to its bullshit. Since I’ve largely been using Grok it was pretty shocking to realize how biased these LLMs are (obvious I know, but the first time I had such a vivid experience of it).
Realizing that LLMs are the ultimate echo chamber..
