The intricate systems and creations involving countless components and the collaboration of numerous professions hinge on the concept of an abstract layer for value exchange.
We were crazy enough to make that base layer fiat money! A centrally controlled money that can be inflated without limit. This choice has led us to grapple with various societal issues, including widening wealth disparities, ongoing conflicts, corruption, and the emergence of authoritarian regimes that threaten freedom of speech.
