Ha. That reminds me of when a mental health NHS trust I once worked at decided it would be a good idea to pay one of their service users to paint individual portraits of their board members. It was a great wheeze on her part, of course, but the results were too hideous to hang in public parts of the hospital. Total waste of taxpayers money.
