I had already read about one of these cases, but I haven't followed its development.
I believe this can be controlled —in a limited way— by demanding precise ethical standards from those who publish an author's work and transparency about the way in which that work was produced.
For me, as a reader, the idea of losing the richness of human experience in literature is the most devastating thing.
