Why hasn't Elan Musk spoke out much about Bitcoin? Especially considering how powerful a tool it is for his business. I think there are several reasons.
1. I suspect Elan Musk knows much more about Bitcoin than he let's on.
2. TESLA and Spacex allready hold over 20,000 bitcoin in their treasuries.
3. For politically Stategic public optics the military command thought it best for him to keep low key on bitcoin.
4. Now that he is almost universally hated by communists, socialist , and Marxists he may now be more vocal in support of Bitcoin.
5. To the extent possible, if anyone actually had some planned control, they wanted Bitcoin to have maximum distribution around the world, and not to have it overly concentrated from the inception.
6. As a very top level military contractor, Musk had some knollege of its existence as a weapon system, and had to exercise due duty and care with the subject.
