I had a virtualised Synology NAS that was almost entirely used as a docker host, running under ESXi on a little Lenovo SFF PC. \n\nI installed proxmox on another machine first, migrated the Synology VM to that, then installed Proxmox on the Lenovo and moved the VM back to it.\n\nThen I ran up a bare bones Debian server VM, installed docker and portioned, and moved all the containers off the Synology to the Debian guest.",
