What are some instances that are nearly guaranteed of staying open and not in danger of shutting down because of financials?
At least the official mastodon.social seems like a relatively safe bet.
Or are there some bigger instances that have a corporate backing so they're not funded by a single person plus additional voluntary donators?
I'm satisfied with the server that I've chosen, but at the same time a bit worried since I'm not willing to pay but if money is an issue.
