Just heard "American Woman" (the Guess Who), and how did I never notice this before? The song has the cleanest and dirtiest guitars imaginable. Guitar 1 is direct (DI), which is rarely done on records. Guitar 2 is super-fuzzed-out, 1970-style. That's extremely cool. #GuitarGeek
