We've been having similar temps to Chicago here in Winnipeg, but I haven't seen scores of electrics dead on the road.
On my noon-hour walks I see Teslas, Ioniq5s and Bolts etc, much the same as any other day.
I'm not sure how much of this is infrastructure failure, driver failure, car failure, or Faux News being Faux News.
