As a 25+ year long fan of Tenacious D, it’s weird to see JB throw his lifelong friend under the bus over one bad joke on stage that KG already apologized for. Jack’s statement reads like it was written by lawyers under pressure from film studios or something. They’ve done so much crazy improv shit on stage over the years and it doesn’t always land, it’s a real surprise to see Jack shut down the band over this.
