I'm unclear how you get your onchain btc out of a fedimint, but I do know the mint honors lightning payments with fedi tokens without intervention as long as the lightning node has enough outbound liquidity and it is able to route the payment. However, the way I understand it, the onchain fedi-funds are separate from the lightning node funds.
