Adam fell into a prog-tard narrative trap on Sunday, namely that the Dixie Chicks were cancelled just for criticizing Bush. Reality is that, contemporaneously, they dropped an interview in which they dissed Reba McEntire fans, saying that if you listened to Reba you were too dumb to listen to the Chicks. Given that Reba was the most popular C&W singer in the country at the time, that might have as much or more to do with fans walking away than the Bush thing.
