2/ In this context a quite reminder for those now thinking "#Linux #kernel development should not depend on a single person and their internet connection".
* With a bit of luck Linus soon is online again and able to catch up before the regular end of the merge window, as about two-thirds of the changes landed already.
* Not much will change if the merge window is lengthened a few days.
* Other people have rights to step in, if Linus would join a circus and is never seen again.
