I didn't think you were. I am also totally fine with people doing things that I don't agree with, but I will voice my opposition to it.
I think that in order for paywalls to work some sort of DRM would need to be implemented. Even if it's a simple password protected feed.
Seems like dev time would be better spent somewhere else. But what do I know, I barely have 2 pennies to rub together. Maybe my line of thinking is wrong?
