Becoming #vegan, for me, was less about my opinions changing and more about my heart changing.
But did I change my heart? Or was my heart changed?
Well, the change wasn't a matter of feeling something I didn't feel before. Rather, I came to feel more deeply what I already felt, and I can't tidily sum up what it was that supercharged my feelings.
One day, these disconnected threads of feeling became a unified tapestry. And once the tapestry appeared, I couldn't just ignore it.
