Saying this is AI made is a publicity stunt, and they pretty much say this outright on their website. In the same way that developers saying something is vibe coded are either underestimating their own skill involved or overestimating the value of what the ai produced.

手書きやCGといった既存の技術では実現が難しかった『新しい表現の確立』

They believe that AI should be used as a tool to enhance what already skilled creatives can do.
Their claims are primarily that AI can help slightly lighten their workloads (similar to what it can help skilled developers with), and create new forms of expression that are hard to do with traditional animation and traditional CGI.

The backgrounds are made using an ai tool that converts a picture to a drawing (this is not really new, has been done for decades, it just used to take longer, and is one of the things where AI CAN help)

The CGI/effects are done in Photoshop and after effects.
I don't think it's fair (nor true) to say that this is 95% done by AI.
