Hey Jake, glad you enjoyed it! Derek is an awesome Nostr educator, and he definitely cleared up a few questions from our side.
For me personally, the answer to getting people into Nostr is a combination of things. First, make nostr-only or nostr-first content. We can't afford not to share our podcast and books as widely as possible, so we share everywhere, but going Nostr first is our way of prioritizing Nostr.
The other thing I'm doing is telling people about the Primal app. They get a wallet built-in (with light KYCnot ideal, but baby steps!), so they can benefit from the zaps and learn more about Bitcoin that way.
As far as video apps, zap.stream (npub1eaz…rcgz) is the closest I can find. We wanted to use them for our full episodes, but apparently the integration with nostr.build (npub1nxy…avr7) pro subscription doesn't work. If it did, we'd post our episodes on Zap.Stream and save to Nostr.Build. We're probably going to post show clips from there in the future eaither way.
More apps will come, I'm sure!
For us, releasing content a day early is pretty much the compromise. But we will do nostr only for some things - stay tuned!
