Just made the discovery that every single one of my credit card statements contains the full card number printed along the bottom. So now they're all hazardous waste and have to be shredded.
I contacted the bank to ask about this, and they said this is under Visa's control.
Well... I guess the liability is mostly with them anyhow, so maybe I can just recycle these as I would other old papers.
