When encouraging people to move Bitcoin off exchanges, I find myself answering the same questions over and over.
Built a simple, beginner-friendly quiz to help people pick the right hardware wallet based on their needs – things like tech knowledge, security & privacy needs, ease of use etc.
The list of wallets is intentionally conservative. I’m not covering some options like seedsigner atm. Will expand the list as I continue researching.
Not trying to exclude crypto users either – if someone insists on storing DeFi tokens, the quiz might recommend a Ledger, but it calls that out during the quiz. Long-term goal is to build tools and content that help people gradually shift toward BTC-only self-custody.
Would really appreciate feedback, especially if anything feels off or biased. Trying to make this a genuinely useful resource for beginners.
