This is just the recycling scam all over again.
Market “green” products as recyclable even though there is no infrastructure (or process) to do the recycling, cut all actually sustainable efforts in favor of higher profits, then insist to watchdogs that customers actually want this shit when the corps have gutted all sustainable alternatives.
Anyway, disable all LLMs and other fake-AI on any new devices you get. At least you have that modicum of control.
