Old ideas of mine, bitcoin/lightning + nostr changes the game!:
What I want to see, and even had a vision of, as a toy model/rough contraption in my head (Don’t have the coding skills, or monetary resources to marshal them from elsewhere):
I want something that combines spotify/pandora on one end, bandcamp in the middle, and splice/distrokid at the other.
So much about how music is made and found and consumed is rooted in fiat shenanigans.
The previous tools are steps in a better direction, but open permissionless p2p protocols will be how we get it right.
I can make loops and samples FOR DAYS!! “Songs”, not so much.
I’d love to “sell”/“license” stuff as well as take commissions, collaborate and share zaps, do live shows from home….
