I’m in Alsace, which is (and has been for a long time) in the same situation, if not worse. I understand your thought process, I went through the same thing. Consider however a few things:
* These yellow areas have the far right in second place with 30ish%, barely better than your area.
* Your area needs your vote more than a yellow one does.
In any case ✊ the fight is not over yet.
