Hey #HomeAssistant community - I have a challenge with very quiet sensors.
If all is well, they tend to drop off the system and need to be revived. e.g. a moisture sensor in a spot that never gets wet. You want to monitor in case your dishwasher or hot water tank leaks.
It might be years (or never?) before you need the critical warning. Does one need to do a manual water-dip wake-up every month, or is there some 'keep-alive' function in HA + ZHA or zigbee that will do it?
