Yeah, you're probably right about editing. It's something I need to get better at. But I am still blaming the camera for a little bit of it. Last summer I was side-by-side shooting the same thing with someone with a new Sony. Comparing the lack of noise and broader dynamic range in the images on our respective LCD screens made the difference obvious.
