Trump's new Israel-obsessed government cannot be seen in context without the 'End Times prophecy' of the third 'Solomon's Temple' in Jerusalem planned to be built on the current site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, or 'Temple Mount' to Jews and Christians. Palestinian Muslims have to be vanquished and removed to do this which is what is happening as we speak and what Trump and co plan to complete.
Trump's transfer of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in his first term was all part of the stepping stones to this end which include more formally the coming of the 'anti-Christ' and the lunacy of a sacrificed 'red heifer' and much else. The revival of the Sanhedrin for the first time in more than 1,400 years is related to this and is meant to lead to the imposition globally of the 'Noahide laws' which would 'establish courts and a legal system to ensure law obedience'.
